OK.. today mom brought me back my son about 5 p.m. We played with him until about 6 p.m. when she left and then I took over and played with him for about 30 more minutes until he start crying. I tried to cuddle him up to me and rock him to sleep, you could tell he was fighting sleep!! He cried for about an hour more and it was only 30 minutes before his next feeding. So, I placed him in my chair to go fix his bottle. As soon as I get his bottle ready he falls asleep... in my chair!!! So, he has now been asleep for about 30 minutes and I don't dare touch him!!!! I just hope that he doesn't sleep his 8 hour shift there. This is the time that he sleeps 8 hours, oh gee.. sleep really didn't come!!!

You remember how I said that Ashton finally went to sleep... well that only lasted for an hour. From 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Ashton only had a total of 1 1/2 hours of sleep and he did a lot of fussing!!! Needless to say he is at my parents house right now :) He did finally fall asleep over there and has slept for going on 7 hours... yeah!!! Anyways, just wanted to let you know about that... on btw I have to get rid of Lucy. Does anyone want a 10 year old very loving shih-tzu? I am meeting with a lady in Dunwoody on the 8th of April so please let me know before then if you are interested!! Thanks!!

And sleep finally comes!

And sleep finally comes! Ashton has been awake since 8a.m. and has only slept for a total of 25 mins and it's 4p.m. Did I mention that he demands to be held the entire time? Anyways my neck and shoulder, which I thought were much better, are killing me now. I hope this little fuss bucket remains asleep for a long time so that I can recover. :) I do love him very much though! I am still waiting for those giggles to come, at least I am still getting those adorable smiles.

Hey everyone!! Ashton went to the doctor today for his 4-month wellness exam. He's doing real good. He weighs 12.5 lbs and is 223/4" tall. He's getting to be a big boy. Soon, he will be sitting up on his own and crawling. Poor Lucy needs to look out! :)

It's been awhile

I am sorry that it has taken me forever to update Ashton's blog. Right now he is doing fine, he just spent Saturday thru Tuesday at my parents home and now he is with Matthew's parents and he will be there a few days. Right now my neck is causing me trouble and I couldn't pick Ashton up because of the pain so off to the grandparents he went and I think everyone is enjoying it. I kind of miss him though :) I think I might get my son back this weekend... maybe, it depends on if I can sneak him out of the grandparents home... :)

I know that it's been awhile sense Matthew or I have posted anything about Ashton, sorry!! We have kind of been a little busy but don't worry Ashton is doing just fine. He's growing longer and getting heavier... much heavier. He's a little over three months old and he's starting to stay up longer during the day and he usually sleeps at least one 8 hour shift. He's able to hold his head up longer before he headbutts you and we are lying him on his belly a lot( in hopes to see him crawl). As soon as he starts crawling though, the dog and birds will be in a lot of trouble and we will probably have to block him into just one room. I guess I better start looking at baby gates :)
