Easter Weekend

We all had a great time Easter weekend and Ashton got to meet two of his cousins. The little boy with that beautiful red hair is Evan and the little girl that Ashton is hugging is Violet. He loved playing with his younger cousins.

Grandmothers...forgive me

Ok grandmothers, I know this picture doesn't show OUR best features but the fact that Matthew was able to capture the 3 of us with our mouths open at the same time is just hilarious to me. That means that I have to share it with the rest of the world.. enjoy folks, it may never happen again.. or will it??

We did an Easter Egg hunt yesterday and Ashton had a blast. Not only did he enjoy putting the eggs in his basket, he enjoyed putting them in other children's baskets. We had a great time.

Ashton's play set at his Nonnie and Paw Paw's house is ready enough for us to play and PLAY we did!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have the sweetest boy in the entire world

This morning I was woken up to my 2 year old saying "Here you go mommy". It only took me a second to realize that my son was handing me a yogurt cup, top off, spoon in it and that it was only 6:15 a.m. After I took my yogurt cup he ran to the other side of the bed and handed his daddy one has well saying "Here you go daddy" the entire time until Matthew realized what was going on. Ashton then ran into the kitchen, picked up another yogurt cup up off of the floor and started opening one for himself. I took that one away from him and gave him one of the two in my hand(Matthew handed me his). Ashton started eating his yogurt right away and Matthew realized that Ashton had a fork instead of spoon(he’s not quite tall enough to see into the silverware drawer YET) so we switched that out and things went much smoothier. There was no mess to clean up, Ashton had taken the tops off and thrown them away, all I had to do was put the other yogurt cups back into the frig. After Ashton and I were finished with our yogurt(by the way, mine was only half full.. I think somebody ate some it before it was given to me) we all three went back to bed. Of course Ashton slept in mommy and daddy’s bed for the rest of the morning which means mommy didn’t get much sleep after that because the little bugger has to be right up under me. :) This morning I didn’t mind though because I have the sweetest boy in the entire world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We all three went to the park today and even though everyone else in the area had the same idea we had a great time and didn't have any problems with Ashton playing on the playground. Here he is having a great time.
