Growing Up

Ashton is so different now then he was just 2 months ago. It's amazing what changes in a child in only a matter of a few days. He is such a happy baby now, the colic has completely passed and now we just have to worry about gas and teeth trying to come in or should I say out! Ashton loves to put anything and everything into his mouth. I have to take the star off of the activity center because I was afraid that he was going to hurt himself with it. He was sitting in my lap last night and I had his burp cloth sitting on the arm of the chair. He just decided that he wanted that blanket and reached over, grabbed it and stuck it in his mouth. I was really surprised!! He is getting his hand and eye coordination down really good and he has figured out how to show is affection for you. He either gums your check(he's trying to return one of the many kisses that he receives through out the day) or he grabs your checks and brings his head to your head. He did that to his grandfather last weekend and it was just the most adorable thing I've ever seen. I'm sure that my dad would have to agree!! Well I guess that's about it for right now. I should be taking a lot of pictures this weekend because it's Matthew's birthday and we shall be partying hard... just like any normal parent would party... Ice cream and Cake, the highlight of any birthday party.

Mother's Day

Sorry it's been awhile since the last post! We have been busy the past couple of weeks. Ashton is doing well. He should start sitting up soon, he's also started teething which has been a not so fun experience so far. Thank goodness for the Benadryl, I think it actually works. Well, Mother's Day was fun. Mom, Dad, David Joe & Melissa came over and we have a wonderful dinner and some yummy cake. Mom bought Ashton a new toy and he loves it a lot, it's what he's sitting in in the picture. Well, I must go, the little one is fussing at me to come play with him. He's hates being alone.
