Baby Ashton

This is the blog of our son, Ashton. There has been so much to say and post about him, it was taking over my personal blog; therefore, he now has his own site chronicling his exploits and documenting his life for friends and family.

How Cute!!!

Ok, now that I have posted the rabid pictures I have to post some cute ones now. So here you go, enjoy, oh, comments are appreciated and the comment section should be working. Thanks.

What Up Doc?

Ashton has made some of the funniest faces today. Matthew and I have just gotten a kick out of these pictures. Enlarge the first one and you will see what a rabid child looks like. That one just makes me laugh so hard every time I look at it.

what a leak

Well my goodness are we getting so bad weather!!! Ashton finally went to bed like the good little boy he is(whatever) and darn it if the storm didn't wake him up. So, now all of us are sitting in the living room watching t.v. or on the computer. I am surprised though, the lights have only flickered once and that's it. I have a major leak in Ashton's room though because of the bay window. I called the emergency number and they informed me that they will do something about it Monday. Needless to say, I will be contacting the manager tomorrow morning to let her know how unhappy I am about that, especially with it being in Ashton's room. Anyways the little one is growing fast as a weed and he is crawling and I do mean the real deal crawl! Matthew and I are having to chase him all over the place. Needless to say, we will be buying baby gates this weekend. I have gotten to dress him in pants and long sleeve shirts and he's just the cutest thing in them, I will get pictures as soon as I can. Speaking of pictures, I'll shut up and post some now. I know that is why you look at this site, to see Ashton. :) These pictures are of Ashton's two teeth, blurry I know, he wouldn't quite moving. The other one is of him playing peek-a-boo and of his Great Uncle Ron holding him, looks scared doesn't he!! The poor thing!

We're back from Georgia this time.

Well, we are back from Georgia again! We had a lot of fun with both sets of grandparents. We did some shopping, since I don't have a Ross near me, and we did some eating and lots of laughing at Ashton. He is so funny right now. On the way home he played Peek-A-Boo with me and let me tell you, I didn't do a darn thing except say Where's Ashton? Peek-A-Boo I see you! He was so cute, he started the game all by himself and ended it by himself. He wore me out though because he got to fast at certain parts and I couldn't keep up with him. He of course thought everything was just so funny. The little one is crawling now and can pull himself up so easily . Matthew told me that I had to mention that Ashton is sitting on top of daddy's new car. He's so cute up there!!! Thank goodness PawPaw had a good grip on him because he's such a wiggler now. We have to pin him down to change his clothes and diapers. If he's a real mess it takes two people. While he was in his playard he kept running his face up and down the mesh siding. You can see that he's going up in this picture, look at that bottom lip. Well, now that we have our baby back there should be a regular posting again so I hope y'all enjoy.

Bye Bye

Ashton left with his grandparents today to head back to Georgia. I hated to see him go, but then I went shopping and felt all better :) He will definitely enjoy spending a few days with his Nonnie and PaPaw and then to his Grandmother and Grandpa's house he'll go and will surely be spoilt by the time I go down there to pick him up. He has two teeth now and you can really see them and he's saying dada now. He's getting to be such a big boy!!! As you can see from the pictures that he has his own sea turtle!! I was going to take it back because he didn't seem to like it but when his daddy put him on it today he went crazy and actually had it rocking so I might keep it now. Well, that's all for now folks.

We're back, on the internet that is...

For those of you that don't know we are now living in Louisville, KY. It's nice up here and I can't wait until winter comes and I actually get to see snow!!! It should be fun to see Ashton playing in the snow. He has changed so much in one week. First he started to be able to sit up for longer periods of time, then he started to try and crawl, then he had a tooth come in, then he started sitting himself up, then he started standing up. Boy are we in trouble!!! Oh I forgot, he can say MAMA!!!!!! It's more like mymamamamamama, but it's mama, and he can hold all of his bottles as well. About the naked picture, he figured out how to take his diaper off that night. I am glad that I went to check on him because he would have ruined the play pen and blanket. I hope this posting holds y'all over until Ashton gets back from GA. Matthew's parents will be spending this weekend with us and then taking Ashton home with them and then we will be picking him up the week of the 11th.
