Baby Ashton

This is the blog of our son, Ashton. There has been so much to say and post about him, it was taking over my personal blog; therefore, he now has his own site chronicling his exploits and documenting his life for friends and family.

I have the greatest boy ever!! I really do. Look at how adorable he is asleep in his high chair. We were all sitting around the living room eating our dinner watching a movie and we looked up and he was gone gone gone!! He still had a hold of his sipper cup, he feel asleep when no one was looking. The little guy had been going all day with no nap(because he didn't want one) and passed out in front of daddies yummy enchiladas. I was able to pick him up and put him to bed with no problems at all. When I went to lay him down he threw his arms behind his head and that was it. That was the only moving from him and no sound at all. It's so adorable!! Now, on to the video. I guess it took me looking at this blog functions at 4a.m. to realize that they now have a video option YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited, especially now that I have a camcorder also. If you have so connections, speed them up so that you can see my baby play!! Well I have tried twice to download the video and it will not do it, so sorry. I will work on getting that on here. At least you get to see pictures :)

Such a silly boy!

I was not able to get a picture of Ashton being at his cutest the other day but I did want to tell you about it. We put Ashton down for his nap and he fussed for awhile which is normal. He finally fell asleep though but only took about an hour nap. We heard him fussing so Matthew went to check on him and found him asleep(but waking up) on the window seat. It was adorable. He had pulled up all the blinds and fell asleep looking out the windows.

The pictures are of him playing in his bouncy seat. You know, the one he didn't like when he was a baby!! I had it sitting on the bed while cleaning and he climbed right up in it and started playing. It was cute. Now that we have all the book cases cleaned off he loves climbing up on them, as seen below :)

Sleepy Time

We recently had company over and we gave them Ashton's room to sleep in. We blew up the two air mattresses for them and their boys and Ashton slept in the bed with Matthew and I. After our company left we just left the air mattresses up because we have more company coming on Wednesday(can't wait for y'all to be here either). Well, Ashton has completely taking over the larger mattress. It is where he sleeps now, hasn't touched his bed at all. Doesn't he just look so happy!!

Where's Ashton?

Oh, there he is!! What's up with that hair?

Yum Yum Yum, good corn

Fun at the Park

We had a lot of fun at Water Front Park today. A little too much fun maybe. Poor Ashton over heated and throw up everything he had just eaten which included shrimp, fries, and some other stuff I didn't recognize. Oh well, he feels much better now and all is well. Here are some pictures of him and daddy at the park playing.

100% Boy

2 black eyes, 5 bloody lips and to many scraps and bruises on the legs to count. Yep, we've got ourselves a real 100% boy. Ashton has truly enjoyed testing out the new air mattress. We have enjoyed bouncing him off of it too. He bounces so well!! I am sure the neighbors wonder what goes on because he screams at the top of his little lungs. He can almost scream as loud as his mommy, I should know, I've tested it out, hurt my own ears. :) He has a new word "Today". He heard Elmo say it on Sesame Street and said it with no hesitation at all. He is also learning "thirsty". He has learned to "pounce" us too, just like Tigger!! The kid is a trip, that's for sure.
