Baby Ashton
This is the blog of our son, Ashton. There has been so much to say and post about him, it was taking over my personal blog; therefore, he now has his own site chronicling his exploits and documenting his life for friends and family.

1st Birthday
Ashton had a wonderful time at his 1st Birthday party. Just the immediate family came but it was still a great party. We had both sets of Grandparents, MaMaw, Uncle David and Aunt Melissa and of course mommy and daddy. Ashton enjoyed his first cake and it was a blast to see him play with it too. It took him a minute to figure out that it was ok to play with this food!! After cake we opened presents and let me tell you, he is already a pro at opening presents. We just had to get the paper started for him and he did the rest. (we helped a few times because we didn't want to be there all night)
Thanksgiving
We had a grand ole time Thanksgiving day. Looks of great food that Ashton got to enjoy himself. I and the Grandmothers got to feed him dressing, gravy, yams, mashed potatoes, squash casserole, and chocolate icing from a yummy chocolate cake. All the food was wonderful and we had a good time with both sides of the family. Ashton was able to meet four of his cousins and he really enjoyed playing with Kate who is just 6 months older than Ashton.

We have recently got the Cars movie and we received a free blow up chair with it because we preordered it through Toyrus. Well, as you can see someone loves his new chair!!! The funny thing is, he slides right out of it. It just might be the pants that he has on though. It's a site to see. The other pictures are of Ashton playing with the cooler before we put it up. You can see how much he is gonna miss it since he's kissing it :) and what a wonderful picture of him standing beside it. I wish I could take out the background on that one.

Peek a boo
Here are some peek a boo pictures from on the way back home from Gatlinburg, TN. This is his favorite thing to do in the car and he does it so well, even when he doesn't have a blanket, he still finds something to hide his face. The top picture is of him curled up in his bed at the hotel after we were finished trick or treating. We wore him out!!

Happy Halloween
My on my what a wonderful week this as been. We enjoyed 3 days in Gatlinburg including trick or treating at all the stores there and then we came home and have enjoyed the company of the Grandparents. They even let Matthew and I have a night out on the town by ourselves which was fun. Well, here are some pictures of our adventure.
