With Rattler in Hand, We Ride

This may well be Ashton's first "stoic" pose. He grips his rattler rather nicely now. Then he smacks himself in the head with it and flings it as far as he can, which is to say two to three centemeters. Based on this photo, I feel sorry for the ladies when we finally unleash him on an unsuspecting world.

Ashton is getting so big, and so strong, that he is constantly amazing us. If you are burping him on your shoulder, and he gets tired of it, he'll raise up and look at you as if to say, "okay, I've had enough of this." If you should continue holding him there, he'll headbutt you. Repeatedly. Until you give up. And his head's HARD.
We've also obtained documented proof that he sleeps with his left eye open. Not all the way, just cracked. But I guess it's good that he does actually sleep. Otherwise we never could.

Hey everyone! I just want to say thanks for looking at Ashton's site. Right now this is the only way extended family came see him. It's very hard not to be able to parade him around to everyone's house and show him off. Soon enough we will be out and about though. I want to thank everyone for all the thoughts and prayers that we received and for all the wonderful gifts. We are all doing very well and are as happy as we can be with the little bit of sleep that we have gotten :) Once again, thank you to everyone for everything and may God bless you as well if not better than he has bless us.
